Welcome to CertLynk. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. About CertLynk
CertLynk is a professional credentialing platform that helps verified professionals manage their certifications, build professional profiles, and connect with career opportunities through industry networks.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use CertLynk.
- One account per person. Do not create duplicate accounts.
3. Email & Phone Verification
To ensure the integrity of our professional network, we require email and phone verification. Verification helps us:
- Confirm your identity
- Protect against fraudulent accounts
- Enable secure communication about your certifications and career opportunities
4. Professional Profiles & Certification Claims
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information in your profile, including certification claims.
- We verify certifications through industry partners (e.g., FOA). Submitting false credential information may result in account suspension or removal.
- Profile information you share in the Career Directory is visible to verified recruiters and employers.
5. Industry Networks
- Network membership is subject to credential verification and approval.
- Network administrators may review and approve or deny applications based on credential verification.
- Membership may be revoked if credentials are found to be invalid.
6. Career Directory & Opportunities
- Participation in the Career Directory is voluntary and opt-in.
- You can change your Career Directory and opportunity preferences at any time.
- We do not guarantee employment or job placement.
- We may share your profile with verified recruiters only if you have opted in.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information about your qualifications
- Use the platform to harass, spam, or deceive other users
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the platform
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
8. Intellectual Property
- CertLynk and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
- You retain ownership of the content you provide (profile information, resumes, etc.).
- By uploading content, you grant us a license to use it for the purpose of operating the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
CertLynk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Decisions made by employers or recruiters based on your profile
- The accuracy of third-party credential verification
- Service interruptions or data loss beyond our reasonable control
10. Account Termination
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@certdock.com.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
- Upon termination, your profile will be removed from the Career Directory.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law.
